Rules reference

This work includes material taken from the System Reference Document 5.1 (“SRD 5.1”) by Wizards of the Coast LLC and available at https://dnd.wizards.com/resources/systems-reference-document. The SRD 5.1 is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode.

The structured SRD reference was obtained from the official Open5e repository: https://github.com/open5e/open5e-api/tree/staging/data/v1/wotc-srd. The older repository metadata also lists the original OGL publication; this catalog uses the subsequently released SRD 5.1 CC BY 4.0 grant, confirmed at https://www.dndbeyond.com/srd.

StoryPath adapts creatures to its level, health and damage ranges, races and classes to its six attributes and character forge, and spells to its five-tier traditions. Full reference effects are shown for authors; this does not implement every tabletop spell or item effect automatically. Authors define additional outcomes through scene actions, rewards, encounters and quests. Original NPCs and additional genre templates are by StoryPath. No endorsement is implied.

Bundled illustrations

Cairn spell and spellbook reference adaptations are from Cairn 1e by Yochai Gal, https://cairnrpg.com/first-edition/cairn-srd/, licensed CC BY-SA 4.0, https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/. StoryPath adds a source prefix, a Ritual tradition/tier, and spellbook item wrappers. These adaptations and the catalog compilation are offered under CC BY-SA 4.0; separately identifiable SRD portions retain CC BY 4.0. The application code and authors’ independent story text are separate works. Source and license credits remain attached to selected entries.

Illustrated SVG symbols by Lorc, Delapouite and the Game-icons.net contributors, https://game-icons.net/, licensed CC BY 3.0: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/. StoryPath modified colors, backgrounds and framing. Individual icon names and artist credits are listed in [rpg-art/icon-credits.json](rpg-art/icon-credits.json); the archive license is in [rpg-art/game-icons-license.txt](rpg-art/game-icons-license.txt).

Catalog symbols are being replaced with subject-specific painted illustrations made with the built-in imagegen tool. Reviewed replacements and their prompts are recorded in the illustration manifest. Remaining SVG symbols retain their original credits. Existing matching creature/NPC art and the approved treasure-chest Mimic are preserved.

The magical-library header is original AI-generated artwork created with the built-in imagegen tool. Prompt: “An enchanted treasure table in an old stone wizard study, glowing potion bottles, jeweled rings and amulets, a sheathed ornate sword, rolled parchment scrolls, an open illuminated spellbook, tiny enchanted trinkets. Warm gold light, deep teal shadow, tasteful purple magic wisps. No people, text or logo.” Saved as rpg-art/magical-library.png.
